My floral journey started many moons ago when I took a day off work that would end up transforming my career.
The time spent attending an introductory course at a local florist shop proved to be a fascinating experience – I was hooked!
I remember coming home and saying to my husband, 'my dream is to be a florist and one day have my own business'.
The timing wasn't right for me then. I already had an amazing career as a fashion buyer and loved travelling the world, working in the hustle and bustle of London’s West End and climbing the corporate ladder.
However, after our twins came along I realised that a four-hour train commute and missing bedtimes was not the way I wanted my life to pan out. I needed to take the plunge for a career change – it was now or never.
Years later, I don’t regret my decision for a second. Why would I? I get to work with beautiful flowers and make people's dreams come true!
In my new career, I learned on the job with hard work and determination. My days in the fashion industry had given me a good, creative eye for colours and form and the experience of working in a fast paced environment. I pride myself on my business and people skills.

I admit I do get carried away and become just as excited as you do when we start to discuss your big day. I’m so passionate about each wedding because they’re all different and create new challenges.
