Terms and Conditions
Consultations and quotes
A free consultation will be provided prior to making a booking for your wedding flowers and a free final meeting roughly 6-8 weeks before your wedding day is optional should you require or a telephone conversation/email correspondence should you prefer. Additional consultations will be charged at an agreed hourly rate.
Your quoted prices are valid for 12 weeks from the date they are first sent to you, if you choose to book after this time there may be a need to re-quote.
Bookings and payments
When a wedding date is booked a 30% deposit is required. The 30% deposit is deducted from your final wedding bill. This deposit will secure the date and is required no later than 28 days after your quote is received.
A final invoice will be sent to you outlining your balance after final meeting.
If, for any reason you decide to cancel your wedding this deposit is non-refundable. If you decide to postpone your wedding we will hold your deposit until your wedding goes ahead.
At the time of booking both parties will be bound by these terms and conditions.
Full payment of the price quoted will be required 4 weeks before your wedding date otherwise your wedding flowers will not be ordered.
Cancellations
You can cancel your order any time before the wedding date.
More than nine calendar months to event = 20% cancellation fee
6-9 (six to nine) calendar months to event = 50% cancellation fee
3-6 (three to six) calendar months to event = 80% cancellation fee
0-3 (zero to three) calendar months to event = 100% cancellation fee
If through illness or for reasons beyond our control none of our florists are able to finish your wedding flowers we will employ a free-lancer or pass your order to an available florist who will work to our quoted prices.
If in the very unlikely case we are unable to find an alternative florist you will be refunded in full and be given all support available to provide your wedding flowers.
Liability
Aqua Flowers Wedding and Event orders are for the sole use and responsibility of the persons making the booking and items must not be sub-let or lent to others during the hire term. The hired items shall remain the property of Aqua flowers wedding and events at all times. The hirer is solely accountable for the ordered items during the period of hire.
Aqua Flowers Wedding and Events accept no responsibility for damage or injury caused to person or product as a result of this hire arrangement. All goods are hired and are the responsibility of the hirer until they are returned to us.
Aqua Flowers Wedding and Events cannot be responsible for the bouquets once delivered so please ensure to keep in a cool shaded place.
Any breakage of hired goods must be paid for.
Additional terms and information
Fresh flowers and Foliage are a living product and are dependent on weather conditions, stringent quality checks, and influences beyond our control and are prone to colour and availability periods. On exceptionally rare occasions we may have to substitute a specific flower. If this happens we reserve the right to source a similar flower, and we hope that you trust our judgement to make any necessary substitutions and know that it is in your best interests for us to do so. If there is a problem with your order we will contact you as soon as we are aware and discuss with you to find an alternative.
Any inspirational images used such as photos from Pinterest, Instagram, Google, Websites or any other social media platform are for a guide only, we cannot replicate exactly, as we are working with natural products they may not always be the same variety due to seasonality and may come in different forms and colours.
Any mock bouquets made for you, along with any designs, sketches and photographs of our work we allow you to view and/or take away with you are subject to copyright laws (The Copyright, Designs and Patents Act 1988) and therefore you are not permitted to show them to, or allow them to be copied or used by any other florist or floral designer without the express consent of Aqua Flowers Ltd. If you choose not to use Aqua Flowers to provide your wedding flowers, any designs, sketches and photos must be returned without being copied.
It is your responsibility unless agreed otherwise that flowers be removed from the venue.
