“we were recommended aqua florist by our wedding planner. As the groom i was not very excited by the idea of arranging flowers but i went along to the initial meeting where i met sara. Sara welcomed me and my wife like long lost friends, so warm and genuine. Sara asked us questions about our theme, what we wanted and then her creative streak took over. she came up with ideas we would never have thought about, to bring our theme to life. Leaving that meeting i was excited to attend the next one to see what she would come up with. On the second meeting she did not disappoint, she had come up with how she would make sandcastles out of flowers to reflect our retro-beach theme and make ice cream sundaes on other tables. Even though sara was busy with other weddings she made us feel like we were the only one. On the day of the wedding, i went to the venue before the reception to help the setup. i was amazed at what sara had produced. On the tables there were fantastic sandcastles made out of flowers. i couldn't believe she had pulled it off. i had never seen anything like it. Sara also made the bouquet for my wife. it was delicate but still had lots of detail and looked amazing All of our guests commented on the flowers and they set off our theme to perfection. We are truly grateful for sara for what she created for us.

 

Sara is a very talented Florist. From our first meeting in her spectacular workshop to the day of the wedding the advice and quality of service was unbeatable. I cried when I saw the beautiful flowers set out for or ceremony - She had exceeded every expectation. Our wedding was in the amazing garden of Barnsley House and still her exquisite displays became a talking point for our guests. The colour of the flowers and foliage used complimented the internal decor of Barnsley House completely. Her imaginative use of crab apples as a base for the table settings showed both flair and style. The following day Sara arrived early and all the displays and table settings were set into fabulous bouquets that I could give to my guests. The price was well below our guestimate. Sara had not hiked up the price like so many other florists and provides a personal, unbeatable service.

 

My mum attended a supplier wedding fair at our venue where I asked her to investigate the florists that had previously worked at The Kingscote Barn. On meeting Sara, she knew that she and I would hit it off, and she was right. Sara's approach when we met was to ask many questions about our wedding plans, and to understand what we wanted from the day overall, and the role that the flowers and decoration would play in that. It certainly wasn't a case of 'this is what we offer, take it or leave it' it was a truly bespoke, personal service. Sara took a great interest in understanding our budget for this element of the day, and to come up with inventive, creative solutions and suggestions that were spot on for what we were trying to achieve. As we were getting married in Bristol with the reception in Kingscote, I felt sure that Sara would not be keen to accommodate the flowers for the service, but I was wrong. Sara was more than happy to provide all of the flowers for both the reception and service, and arranged for them to be delivered to our house in Bristol on the morning of the wedding whilst she was busy decorating the reception venue. Her suggestion of using pre-loved candles in the lanterns and candle holders was inspired, and certainly a sign of how for her it was important to give the best service she could to a client, and not looking for ways to get the most she could out of a gig. This was a refreshing approach amongst many other suppliers in the industry who didn't seem to have the same thoughts. I would not hesitate to recommend Sara at AQUA to any other brides, and in fact I do so whenever I speak to anyone getting married in the area. She was a pleasure to deal with.”

Sara was able to take one look at the picture of my dress and know exactly what was required to compliment it. She gave invaluable advice about the wedding venue as she had worked their before and was able to change things at the last minute, for example we ask her to find trees for hire that were not bay trees and she can back with some beautiful olive trees complete with olives. She was the only florist who would design the table centre for us as it was complicated by a tiffany cardboard box being in the centre, other florist said it would be impossible not to get the box wet but Sara managed to come up with the design around this limitation. On the day she was really keen about every detail (not just the flowers) but at all the other the wedding details, making sure the bridesmaids corsages were tied correctly and enthused over the dress, which made the day even more special”
